Happy Spring and Mother's Day!

May 7, 2016 by Laura

Hey, Readers! Happy Mother’s Day to all! It is finally spring in the Midwest. This time of year is usually my busiest; finishing up my classes, finishing up children’s classes, and getting in a garden. Added to the chaos this year is my graduation just around the corner! I loved UIS Online, and I recommend it to anyone looking for an online school. Usually in the spring I put out a new book, but because of school and homework load I was not able to do that this time. Tribal King is coming together fast and might be out even earlier than August. I am still working on publishing my poetry book. That may be another year out. After Tribal King I will be working on the sixth and final book in my Stolen Heritage series for a November or December release, but I’m not sure what the title will be, yet. The author’s fair last month was a great experience, and I highly recommend everyone visit the Savanna Museum and Cultural Center in Savanna, IL if you get the chance. The Civil War displays are wonderful, and the tour guides are very knowledgeable. The next event I will be participating in will be the Freeport Writers Author’s Fair in November. That is a long way off, so I may throw in a book signing of my own this summer. I am now offering writing services on my website such as proofing, editing, reviews, and creative writing services. If you need help with a writing project, just let me know! I’ll be glad to help. Have a great spring, wherever you are! Laura S. Kearney
